The Career Center was established by the Ohio County Fiscal Court for the purpose of assisting our citizens as they pursue both careers and the skills necessary to make them successful. Our goal is be the conduit between job seekers and employers, emphasizing the importance of attaining basic prerequisites, such as GED’s, Skills, and Work Keys testing.
We are 100% service oriented for the benefit of Ohio Countians, both employers and prospective employees.
This office provides applications for various employers within at least a fifty mile radius. We also assist in preparing resumes and helping jobseekers complete on-line applications and uploading resumes. We also provide computer access for customers to file for unemployment benefits and request unemployment checks.
Our computers are available for job searches, as we also provide job listings as posted by the various state employment centers.
We accept and/or help prepare job listing for local employers and provide this information to state employment offices when applicable.
